Dr Selva checked my nose & was all blocked (started to feel pain on my face). He spray some medicine & asked me to wait outside. After 5 mins, I was asked to return to his office & was scoped. Yuks! The feeling was not good even though the scope was such a small tube (slightly bigger than the yogurt drinks straw). I can feel pain when the scope was inserted deeper into my nasal. Then he push the scope deeper into my throat to check my voice box.
At that time, I really cannot "tahan" (stand). My right eyes tears just rolled down automatically (scoping my right nose). When it reaches my throat, I become nausea plus pain. The doctor asked me to relax & breathe. How to relax & breathe with the tube itching your throat! Lucky, it was over within minuets.
Then he scope my left nasal. Left side was better then right as after he has sprayed the medicine earlier, my left side can breathe easily. Secondly, he doesn't go through my throat. Then he sent me for a CT Scan to check if is sinusitis.

My first CT Scan Experience..............
As I laid down, I was asked to relax, adjusted my head a bit & my head was strapped. I was asked to close my eyes & then I heard the sound rooooommmm......& I can feel the so call "bed" moved inside. Then I heard an other sound like "Ding"......as the "bed" moves further inside (slowly), there is another "Ding"...........which I wasn't sure how many "Dings". Then I feel the bed moving out (which I thought the scan was finished).
Somehow, the "bed" stopped. Then it moves back inside & stopped. Then I can feel the bed started to move inside, outside, like a swing. When the process has finished & the guy told me to open my eyes, when I walked, I feel like I was still swinging.......slightly dizzy too.

Then I waited for my report (X-Ray images) & took it back to the ENT doctor. I asked the doctor is it because of my nose which causes the symptoms of Asthma & he nodded his head. Wow! What a relief!
I was asked to continue with Symbicort (until I finish it as it is for my lungs), Xyzal, Nasonex & was given one extra nasal spray called Afrin (lucky not a steroid bit contains of Oxymetazoline) but the leaflet stated not to use longer than 3 days but the doctor asked me to see in in 2 weeks.
I called the Hospital, Pharmacy & asked if the medicine is for 2 weeks usage or for 3 - 5 days prescription? I was told that is for 2 weeks. Guess I've to call the doctor again tomorrow.
So, readers out there, whatever medicine given to you, please read the leaflets or go through the net & check out your medicine.

Some folks really hate the CT scan. Like my hubby, he gets claustrophobic, and freaks out. They have to sedate him first. Hope you will feel better with all these meds/sprays.
