First Aid Training

My company has sent me for a 3 days First Aid Kit course. The course include Bandaging, Fracture, CPR, Recovery Position, Transport & Choking. Yesterday, we learn all about bandaging, in terms of Theory & Practical.

Bandaging itself has so many types but first, we have to learn how to tie the reef knots, which is a must as all bandages uses the reef knots. In order to start off the bandage, we were given a Triangular Bandage (upper left). We learn how to fold the triangle bandage as there are two types of folding which is the Broad & Narrow Bandage (different usage) and also the Ring Pad/Crescent Shaped Cotton Pads which is used when a sharp object poked into your body

Is fun when we do the physical bandage but we always mixed up the Arm Sling (below left) & the Elevation sling (pic right). We like the most is the Head/Scalp Bandage as all of us look so cute, like wearing a scarf.

The rest are all Theory where we learn about the basic things like the Human Body. The Circulatory System, Respiratory System & Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation or in short CPR (practical was done today).

Will continue later of what I have learn. Just to share my experience as I really learn a lot today.
